NanoPV Solar Products Nigeria is a Joint Venture between one of the world’s leading solar equipment manufacturers, NanoPV USA, and NanoPV Solar Products Nigeria Ltd. It is set up by solar technology experts and social entrepreneurs with over 25 years in various areas of management, engineering, economics, information technology (IT), sustainable development and environmental advocacy, to help solve what is arguably Nigeria’s biggest problem – electricity, reverse the effects of oil/gas extraction on the environment and health of Nigerians and make Nigeria not only an exporter of clean energy to the world but also a big player in the fight against climate change.
This branch was originally planned for Canada but brought to Nigeria by the efforts of Nicaredy (a company domiciled in both Nigeria and Canada but owned by Nigerians in Canada). Nicaredy saw the need and potentials due to the avaliability of more sunshine, raw materials and lower production costs.
Its a joint mission to boost local production of technology, access to the Internet, security, healthcare delivery, education, housing and agriculture in rural areas in Nigeria and to export solar technologies from Nigeria to the world.

We Provide Superior Solar Production and Integration Services
Production of Solar PV Modules
NanoPV’s proprietary high-efficiency and low-cost solar PV modules nano-engineered with Transparent Conducting Light-trapping Oxide (TCLO) technologies, to be ‘Made in Nigeria’. This include NanoPV’s wide-selling Thin-Film Si, Amorphous c-Si and Transparent c-Si panels, as well its Hybrid Si PV panels, which have met all international certifications for quality and safety, and are used by solar system manufacturers and installers all over the world;
Trainings and Internship Programmes
Training of thousands of Nigerian youths on solar manufacturing, integration and installation to storm the African renewable energy market, enabled through local research and development supervised by NanoPV USA; This training will start with the training of the first batch of 12 Nigerian engineers in NanoPV USA’s factory in Americus Georgia, USA, and the deployment of some management staff of NanoPV USA to Nigeria for further training of on-ground technicians, installers, project managers and factory workers
Installation of Solar Farms
Integration and installation of solar farms with off-grid mini-grids and micro-grids in hundreds of communities, local business hubs, schools and hospitals across the country. The solar farms will be in large capacities of 20MW, 30MW, 50MW and 100MW, etc

We Also Offer
Building of Integrated PhotoVoltaic (BIPV) projects. NanoPV has the best BIPV modules in the world. But in addition to NanoPV, these projects will be executed in collaboration with Nicaredy’s existing international partners, StrongKor in Canada (sustainable modular construction) and Platio in Hungary (solar pavements, electric vehicle charging stations, etc., made from recycled plastic materials);
- Standalone home/business premises solar installations
- Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) signed with communities and institutions for the supply of constant electricity by Pay as You Go (PAYGo).
- Extension of fast and reliable broadband Internet access to all homes/businesses in participating communities.
- Integration of microcontrollers, sensors and actuators into the networks so they are monitored, billed and serviced via Cloud-based Internet of Things (IoT) dashboards and mobile apps
- Incorporation of energy storage units and hybrid technologies, e.g., inverters, micro-inverters and Lithium-Ion banks such as Tesla’s Powerwall and PowerPack, etc
- Distribution of electric vehicles, cars, tricycles, scooters, bicycles, motorcycles, fully off-grid and on-grid charging stations with hardware and software, including POS payments.
